Newborn photography is an excellent way to document the beginnings of your little one’s life. When captured professionally, newborn photos will feature beautiful memories and emotions that you can cherish forever. These photos are a keepsake for generations to come and serve as a reminder of how small and precious our newest additions were when they first arrived. 

Sessions

The ideal time to photograph your newborn is between 6-21 days old. At this age babies are still very sleepy and we are able to get them into those little curly poses and possibly capture those dreamy little smiles. As much as I love the older newborns, I am unable to accommodate babies that are older than 21 days. Sessions are only held in my Vaughan, Ontario studio.

Am I the right photographer for you?

Not everyone will be a good fit for my photography style, and thats ok! Here are some things to consider before booking me, or any other newborn photographer. Number one, you must love the style of photos on this website. I consider my style more neutral and rustic. If you are a lover of white and bright, glitz and glam, I am not the girl for you, and thats perfectly fine! My choice of colour palette is also more muted and desaturated. I don’t do bright colours but rather more soft and earth tones. You must also like the way I edit my photos, take a closer look and make sure that the finished product lines up with your vision for your newborn session. My photos have a softer finish to them. If you are looking for sharp, and crisp photography, again I may not be the right fit for you. Lastly, I provide all the props that we will need for your session, I have many rustic baskets, buckets, and beds to choose from. Lots of head bands, hats, layers, wraps and outfits.  All the props have been tested for safety and use with a newborn, and so I ask that all props from home remain at home. With these considerations in mind, you can be assured that your newborn session will capture beautiful and timeless images that you can cherish forever. Rest assured that I am an experienced newborn photographer who understands the importance of capturing these special moments with a gentle hand and an eye for detail. I strive to ensure that your photos are as unique as your baby is and I look forward to creating something beautiful together.
